Team management

Viewing member profiles, inviting staff, roles and the practitioner flag, doctor schedules, and what a new doctor means for the bill.

Watch it done — 60 seconds, no sound needed.

Seeing who's on the team

Anyone at the clinic can open a team member from the Team list — on the dashboard on web, or under More → Dashboard in the app — to see their profile: photo, role, specialties, a short bio, whether they offer video visits, and their weekly hours. It's read-only; what you can change from there depends on your role, per the sections below.

Doctors keep their own profile up to date in My Settings → Professional profile — specialties, license, bio and photo. The photo is theirs to set: it appears on their team profile here and on the clinic's public landing page, and nobody else can upload it for them.

Inviting someone

Invite a team member by email from Team settings, choosing their role as you invite — see Roles & permissions for what each role can do. They set up their own account from the invite; nobody shares a login. When you invite a doctor, the invite form shows what the extra seat adds to your bill before you send it.

One owner

Each clinic has exactly one owner. Ownership can be transferred to another member — a deliberate, confirmed action — after which the previous owner keeps working under their new role.

The "sees patients" toggle

An owner who practices medicine turns on sees patients on their own membership — that's what lets their name go on visits, prescriptions and lab sign-offs. An owner who only runs the business leaves it off. Doctors always see patients; other roles never chart.

Doctor schedules

Each doctor's working days and hours live on their membership and drive the appointment calendar and the public booking page. Split shifts (morning and evening blocks) are supported. For time off, use absence blocking — see Appointments.

Doctors and the bill

Billing counts doctor seats: adding a member with the doctor role (or the owner, always) raises the seat count; nurses, reception, admins and assistants are free. Removing a doctor frees the seat. Details in Subscription & billing.

Removing someone

Removing a member ends their access immediately. Their name stays on every record they signed — medical-legal history is never rewritten. Their relationship-bound work (open referrals, ordered labs) stays visible so it can be handed over.

Leaving a clinic yourself

Anyone except the owner can leave a clinic they work at, from My Settings → Leave this clinic on web or in the app. It removes only that membership: your Angel account and any other clinic you work at are untouched, and coming back needs a fresh invitation.

Leaving behaves exactly like being removed — access ends immediately, your name stays on what you signed, and a doctor's seat is freed. If appointments are still booked with you, the confirmation says how many; you can still leave, because reassigning them is the clinic's job, not yours. The owner and admins get a notification the moment you go, naming the appointments that need reassigning.

The owner can't leave — transfer ownership first, then leave under the new role.

Still stuck?

If you already use Angel, ask from inside it — Help & support carries your clinic, screen and app version with the message, so nobody has to describe their setup. Otherwise write to us and a human will answer.
