Clinic settings & features

The clinic profile, the Features switches, deposit policy, auto no-show, and the drug-safety switches.

The profile

Clinic Settings holds who you are: name, phone, address, and the language for automated patient messages (Arabic, English, or both — see WhatsApp messages).

The Features switches

Everything in Angel is included with the subscription; the Features section controls what your clinic exposes:

  • Public booking — patients book themselves (article)
  • Patient portal — patients see their own records (article)
  • Landing page — your public web page (article)
  • WhatsApp — automated patient messages (article)
  • Video visits — remote consultations (article)
  • Follow-ups — the recall loop (article)
  • Inventory — clinic stock tracking (article)
  • Prescribing assist and the drug-safety alerts (article)
  • Google reviews — review-request nudges after visits
  • ETA receipts — Egyptian Tax Authority e-receipts

Turning a feature on needs a live subscription; turning one off is always allowed.

Front-desk behavior knobs

  • Deposit policy — none, optional, or required, and the amount (details).
  • Auto no-show — automatically mark appointments no-show when the patient never arrived (details).

The drug-safety switches

Allergy alerts and interaction alerts sit here too, with a deliberate asymmetry: switching one off is owner-only and is written to the audit trail; switching it back on is owner or admin. Weakening a safeguard is a bigger decision than restoring it.

Setup-flavored settings

One-time integrations — payment gateway credentials, WhatsApp credentials, ETA credentials, locations — are web-only. The day-to-day knobs above are on both web and mobile.

Still stuck?

If you already use Angel, ask from inside it — Help & support carries your clinic, screen and app version with the message, so nobody has to describe their setup. Otherwise write to us and a human will answer.
