Terms of Service

Last updated 9 August 2026

These terms cover the use of Angel by clinics and by the people who work in them. By signing in you agree to them. If you are signing up on behalf of a clinic, you confirm that you may bind it.

What Angel is, and what it is not

Angel is practice-management software: scheduling, records, prescribing, billing and the messages that go with them. It is a tool for a clinic. It is not a medical device and it does not practise medicine.

Where Angel offers clinical help — drug-interaction warnings, allergy alerts, prescribing suggestions — those are aids, not authorities. They can be incomplete or wrong. The licensed practitioner remains responsible for every clinical decision; Angel deliberately lets you proceed over a warning, and records that you did.

Angel gives no medical advice to patients. The public booking pages and the patient portal are ways to reach a clinic, not a substitute for seeing one.

Accounts

Staff accounts are created by a clinic — by signing up as its owner, or by invitation. Your account is yours: do not share it. Records signed under your account are attributed to you, and that attribution is the point of them.

Keep your credentials safe, and tell the clinic or us at once if you think someone else has them.

A clinic owner can remove a member at any time. You can delete your own account at any time, on the terms set out on our account deletion page.

The clinic’s data

A clinic’s records are the clinic’s. We hold them on its behalf, we do not sell them, and we use them for nothing other than providing the service.

The clinic is responsible for what it enters: for having the right to hold it, for its accuracy, and for the consents its own law requires.

Subscriptions and payment

Angel is billed per doctor: a base price that includes the first doctor, plus a price for each additional one. Nurses, receptionists, assistants and administrators are free. Paying yearly costs ten months.

New clinics get a free trial. When it ends, or when a subscription lapses, Angel becomes read-only: you keep full access to read and export your records and cannot create new ones until the subscription is current. We do not lock a clinic out of its own patient records over an invoice.

Prices are shown before you pay and exclude taxes unless stated otherwise. We may change prices with notice, and a change never applies to a period you have already paid for.

Patient payments

When a patient pays your clinic through Angel, the money settles to your clinic’s own payment-gateway account. Angel is not a payment facilitator, is not a party to that transaction, and does not hold your funds. Refunds, chargebacks and receipts are between the clinic, the patient and the gateway.

WhatsApp and patient messaging

Each clinic connects its own WhatsApp Business account. Messages are sent from your number under your agreement with Meta, Meta bills you for them, and you are responsible for complying with its policies and with the messaging rules of your country. Angel composes and sends the message; it does not become the sender.

Automated messages are best effort. A reminder that is not delivered does not excuse the clinic or the patient from the appointment.

Acceptable use

Do not use Angel unlawfully, do not try to reach another clinic’s data, do not probe or interfere with the service, do not scrape it, and do not resell it or use it to build a competing product.

We may suspend an account or a clinic that is doing one of those things, or that has not paid — and we will say why.

Availability and support

We aim to keep Angel available continuously and to do disruptive maintenance outside clinic hours, but we offer no uptime guarantee unless a separate written agreement says otherwise. Support is by email at hello@angelhealth.app on working days.

Ending it

A clinic can stop at any time. The subscription runs to the end of the period already paid for and is not refunded pro rata unless the law says otherwise. Export your records before you go — we will help — and tell us whether to return or delete what remains.

Liability

Angel is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows we exclude implied warranties, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose.

We are not liable for clinical decisions, for a diagnosis or a prescription, or for a message a third party failed to deliver.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the courts of Cairo have jurisdiction — without depriving a consumer of the protection of the law of the country they live in.

Changes

We will post changes here and update the date. A material change is announced in the product before it takes effect.
